Data Protection of Minors
This blog is free to view by all ages and given the nature of many of the books and images shared on this website, minors (children below the age of 16) may choose to interact with this site. It is not the intention of My Peacock Books to collect personal information of those below the age of 16. There should be consent from a parent/guardian. Competitions/giveaways held on this blog will require users participating to provide names and email addresses to enter. Details of individual competitions/giveaways will be included on the relevant blog posts as well as be included in the rules of that competition/giveaway. By entering you consenting to be contacted via the email you have used to enter. If using Rafflecopter and entering via a third party such as Facebook this email address will be the one you registered with that third party.
Winners may be required to provide mailing addresses (where the prize is a physical item as opposed to a digital item) which may be shared with third parties if that prize is to be sent by the third party and not by myself (i.e. an author will be sending the book rather than me sending it). In these cases it will be made clear in the competition rules that a third party will have access to such information. Winners names/user IDs may also be used in subsequent blog posts to identify the winner of the competition/giveaway. All information provided to me via any competition/giveaway will be kept until a valid winner is identified and contacted then all information of all entrants will be deleted.
My Peacock Books is not responsible for the storing and subsequent deleting of any information passed onto third parties during competitions/giveaways. My Peacock Books is also not responsible for any information sent to and stored on Rafflecopter, or similar competition holding site, where Rafflecopter is used for competitions/giveaways.
